BOC Gases Nigeria plc :- Is the pioneer manufacturer of industrial and medical gases as well as the agent to Afrox for the distribution of Arc and Gas welding products in Nigeria . The company was incorporated in 1959 and commenced business of gas manufacturing in 1961. BOC Gases has the main gases manufacturing operations located at Oshodi along the busy Apapa-Oshodi Expressway. It also operates gas manufacturing plants in two other key centers of industrial activities in the country. These are Kaduna in the mid-north and Warri in the mid-south. In addition the company has branches in Port Harcourt , Ibadan , Ilorin , Kano and a sales outlet at Ketu in the Lagos area. BOC Gases also operate a network of agencies in Apapa, Tincan Island , Otta, Ikeja, Abeokuta , Agbara, akure, Oshogbo , Jos , Benin , Ajaokuta & Abuja.

The company's products include both permanent and liquefiable gases, compressed and supplied in steel cylinders as gas or in bulk carrying cryogenic road tankers as liquid. There is a wide range of cylinders to cater for the various gas types and customer needs holding from 0.6m 3 or less for medical applications to 80m 3 for specialized industrial users. Bulk liquid tankers can deliver up to 10 tonnes or more of product at a time.
